The Mind Museum: Cafe Scientifique goes Galactic
Cafe Scientifique goes Galactic!
Our Milky Way galaxy is one of hundreds of billions of galaxies in the Universe. Like humans, galaxies are born, grow old, and die. Reinabelle Reyes, astrophysicist, who made headlines around the world when she led a team to confirm Einstein’s theory through 75000 galaxies, will guide us through this process using the latest cosmological simulations.
Join us and learn the story of how galaxies have formed over the last ten billion years, and how our own Milky Way galaxy will meet its end a "mere" three billion years from now.

Time: February 11, Saturday, 4 to 6PM.
RSVP: Marco Araneta at marco.araneta@themindmuseum.org
